Hope + Mercy

Midtown exists to proclaim the life-giving hope of good news of salvation through Jesus Christ and to love our neighbors in Columbia’s “Midtown” through acts of service and mercy.

What We Believe

We believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and therefore the only infallible rule of faith and practice (i.e. - the only reliable guide for belief and behavior). Midtown is a member congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), whose doctrinal foundations are contained in the Westminster Confession of Faith.

We believe the essentials of orthodox Christian faith are expressed in the historical creeds of the early church, namely the Apostles Creed and the Nicene Creed.
