New to Midtown?
Here are a few things to know…
Service time
Midtown meets every Sunday at the Columbia Senior Center. Our worship service is 10:15-11:30am. The Nursery is available through the entirety of the worship service.
Livestream
We offer a livestream of our worship service every Sunday at 10:15am. It’s a simple setup, streaming via Youtube.
Sunday School & Children
Our Sunday School hour is 9:00-9:50am for adults and children age 4-13 years. We have a Nursery is available for children age 0-3 years during the Sunday School hour and during the worship service. We also have children’s activity bags available for use during worship.
What Should I Wear?
People at Midtown wear a variety of things, but mostly, it’s casual. You’ll see button downs, t-shirts, dresses, and pants; tennis shoes, sandals, etc. We're not worried about what you wear to Midtown, and we don't want you to be, either. So, whatever is comfortable to you...wear that!
What’s it like?
Midtown is a younger church, now six years old. Our worship has a liturgical bent (older hymns and modern songs, responsive readings, a sermon, the occasional baptism, weekly communion). It is a simple approach to worship. There is coffee available beforehand. You’ll find a warm welcome and place to rest, where you can bring your questions and your doubts, and where you can grow in the grace Jesus.
